The image is a still from an animation showing portable communications nodes being brought in by CH47s after a Katrina like disaster. Due to power outages after Katrina no air traffic control was operating but 500 helicopters crews still flew rescue missions. Modeled in Max and rendered using Brazil 2.0. Compositing in After Effects.
